2023-2024 Season Website Workshops will be held the second Tuesday each month after Koffee.  
(November 14, December 12, January 9, February13 and maybe March 12).  Come explore the website with us and learn its highlights and secrets!!
Website workshops have been scheduled for Jan. 10th, Jan. 24th, and Jan 31st, all Tuesdays.  The first workshop (1/10) will include "Getting Registered" and "Answering Your Questions".  The second (1/24) "Website Overview" and the third (1/31) "Website Highlights (and hidden secrets)" are for everyone.  Workshops will be held after Koffee Klatch in the clubhouse.

The team is working on website classes for new people in the park and for those who need a refresher course.  Stay tuned for dates and times.
COVID has kept activity in the park at a minimum for the past year.  We are finally beginning to see our way clear to enjoying the company of others.  Watch the website for the latest news on any restrictions.

If you know of someone who has not registered, please tell them how easy it is so they won't miss out on the news. Just click on the word 'Register' at the top of the page, answer the questions and you're done.

We're working to keep the website up-to-date but if you see something that needs fixing please let us know.  You will find our email addresses at the top of this page.
The park will start seeing residents arrive this month. There will be some computer and website help this season but the schedule and arrangements for meetings have not been decided yet.  As soon as something (assuming the COVID crisis does not get worse) is ready, we will announce it.


Welcome, Suzi Tyler to our website staff. Suzi started helping out last spring but is taking on more of the responsibilities for our website.  Thanks, Suzi!

Deleting old For Sale or Rent ads will be happening this Saturday, the 15th.  Anything with a date in 2018 or older will be deleted unless I receive an update from you before then.

Next up is pairing the list of registered owners to those who own property in our park currently.  Any past owners on our list will be moved to Friends of Tree Lakes.

Tech help is offered in the conference room.  Mike McEvoy will help with your PC problems and Gayle Starr with Apple issues.  Bring your laptop, tablet or smartphone.  Mike will post a sign-up sheet and announce the date.  

It was a quiet, sleepy summer but that's about to change.  November starts our winter season with multiple activities to choose from.  Get out there and do something.

One of the new activities available is Mike McEvoy's computer workshop.  If you need some help, look for the description under Activities (Computer and Cell Phone Help) and note that there is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board.

I'll post a survey later to check interest in having website sessions again this winter.

It's been a busy first year for the website: learning sessions, many new registrations, all the great people who are managing their forums to provide information to their members, and Suzi Tyler's help promoting the use of the website.  Thanks to all of you for making it easier to follow what's happening in our park.  See you next year!
Web sessions are over for this season but there are new features coming next season.  Just be sure you register before you leave the park so you'll continue to receive news from Tree Lakes.

If you don't have a laptop to bring down, you might look at tablets or you can use a smartphone to interact with our website. 

Summer will be maintenance time for the website: completing features and cleaning up pages.  Be patient with us as we tidy up the house.
I will be back in the clubhouse for one final session on Thursday, February, 28th at 2:30-4:30.  If you need help, come on over.

Now I would like to thank all of you who came to the website sessions over the past two months. It's been a pleasure introducing the new site to you.  I'm pleased that so many of you seemed excited to find all the treasures our site has to offer.  If you know anyone who hasn't registered yet or needs some help logging in, bring them next Thursday.

I will be in the clubhouse on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2pm-4pm to help anyone who needs help registering, logging in, or other website related issues. This is individual, not a group presentation.

On Thursday, February 5th 3pm-4pm, I will be back to cover a few more features of the website. You should plan to be there 30 minutes early if you need help to register or log in.

On Thursday, January 17th, we will be holding Session 3 on the Tree Lakes website. We will start with registering residents and getting connected to the wifi. Come at 2:30 if you need help with either of those. At 3:00 PM we’ll do a quick review of the material from the first two sessions then continue looking at the various pages on our website. Time for your questions will follow.

As we get the season underway, you will find much useful information on community events in the Forums link on our website.  Forums include the latest on Activities (such as Bone Builders and Create Workshop), Events (special treats like breakfasts and the health fair), Dinners (our usual holiday celebrations and special dinners for this winter season), Trips and Excursions (trips out of the park such as bus trips and cruises), and Sports (like bean bag and golf).  Check there for the latest news.

***Please be aware that the website is new and we're working hard to utilize all its great features.  If you are an activity chair and need information on your sponsored activity posted to the website, contact me at [email protected]. Send me the description and I'll take care of that for you and show you how to manage your forum.  It's a great way to communicate with your members!


Our website provider is releasing a new version of our software on November 14, 2018.  We'll be letting you know if and how that will affect what you're used to seeing here and how you interact with the website.

In the meantime, you will see some changes in the Main Menu as we work to make it more convenient for you.
