Suzanne S Phillips OBITUARY

Suzanne Sledzik Phillips, 76, of Middletown, CT and Palmetto FL passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Middletown, CT, she was a long-time resident, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1965. Suzanne worked at Middlesex Convalescent Home before retiring to her piece of heaven in Palmetto, FL. She enjoyed camping and sightseeing, taking a month-long vacation every year to a new destination with her family. Quilting, crocheting, arts & crafts were her passion.

Suzanne was predeceased by her husband Ernest R. Phillips and parents, Stanley F. Sledzik, and Dorthy (Miller) Sledzik. She is survived by her brother Anthony Sledzik, and daughters Sandra McKenney (Dean) and Linda Ferrigno (Robert). Grandchildren Dennis McKenney (Lena), Sarah Ferrigno (significant other Bobby Gullo), and Kelly McKenney (fiancé Ryan Burdick); great grandchildren Emmett & Adeline McKenney and Hallie Burdick, in addition several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospital for Special Care., HFSC Neuroscience Innovation Fund.
